Large-cylindrical cells are already proving themselves in the field. The numbers tell the story:
  • 260Wh/kg products are installed in over 50,000 vehicles
  • 280Wh/kg products are in nearly 70,000 vehicles
  • 300Wh/kg products hit mass production this year
  • 320Wh/kg products are leading in low-altitude economy applications
"With the same structure and the same production line, simply switching the chemical system enables flexible coverage from 80 kWh to 114 kWh," Dr. He explained. That's the platform value of "in-situ upgrades" – automakers can iterate performance without redesigning the vehicle, cutting validation cycles and R&D costs significantly.
Behind this capability sits EVE Energy's systematic "3+2" chemical system layout and a manufacturing base producing 5 million cells daily. Large-cylindrical cells are already deployed in models from BMW and Hongqi, with vehicle integration steadily advancing.
